Is there a try-out?
Everyone who registers will be placed on a team, however Little League requires a Skills Assessment for all players in divisions AA - Juniors (T-ball and A do not need assessed unless you believe they should be in a different division). This is how we determine division placement to ensure safe and appropriate level considering their age and skill level.
When does the season start? How long does it last?
Teams will be selected the 3rd week of March, and practices will start the week after Spring Break. Games will begin in April. Our regular season wraps up mid-June. Those selected for All-Stars will play into August, possibly into September depending how far they progress in the tournament.
When do they play?
T-ball typically has 1 practice during the week and 1 game (on Saturdays) per week.
All other divisions practice 1-2 weekdays and have 2 games per week (1 weekday game, 1 Saturday game).
Weeknight games typically start at 5:30pm. Saturday games will be scheduled as early as 9:00am and as late as 3:00pm.
Some coaches may elect to hold additional practices during the week.
